The waste area within a shapes' surrounding rectangle has - until now - been accepted as unavoidable and dumped. "TSO" makes use of this previously unusable glass by nesting other shapes in that area to get the maximum possible usage of glass.
The resulting saving of material can be extensive: in single cases up to 40%, if the cutting orders include an above average number of shapes. But also in so called 'normal' production our users report a measurably higher material yield.

automatically adds help and relief cuts and lays arc sections in (break-) secure distance to the neighbouring edges - fully automatically!
Should the operator consider the nesting result poor, it can be easily discarded with a mouse click. Only accepted cutting patterns are used.
"TSO" is a high performance module of the cutting optimisation software GPS.opt and can also be used in conjunction with our continuous optimisation software GPS.dynopt to avoid remnant plates.
